IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened voco Orchard Singapore hotel in a refurbished and rebranded iconic property (former Hilton Singapore) on world-famous Orchard Road.
The opening is also the first voco hotel in South East Asia, introducing guests to new and refreshed dining and stay experiences. Described as charming, unstuffy, and playful, the landmark property offers 423 guestrooms, with four well-loved restaurants and bars – Opus Bar & Grill, D9 Cakery, il Cielo and Iggy’s, a rooftop swimming pool, a 24-hour gym and over 1,850sqm of meeting and social event spaces.
The ‘voco Experience’ package combines familiar touches and warm hospitality with playful twists. Guests are welcome to ‘come on in’ and are greeted with a unique welcome treat – homemade spiced cookie and a swift check-in. ‘Me time’ beckons in guestrooms with signature voco touches, such as high-quality bedding made from 100% recycled materials and eco-friendly large size bathroom amenities from Apotheke, plant-based organic skincare company introduced in Singapore for the first time.
Guests can relax, be themselves and enjoy a slice of ‘voco life’ with D9 Cakery’s famed classic American cheesecake, and end their day with a voco-inspired cocktail at Opus Bar & Grill. Choices include the refreshing Rosella – Aperol, Roselle infusion, elderflower liquer, Prosecco, cranberry juice and lime juice; the fruity Spicy Martini – gin infused with chili, passionfruit juice and Tiger beer or the bold and smokey Nutmeg Old Fashioned – Wild Turkey Bourbon, maple and Angostura bitters.
The premium brand was launched in 2018 and quickly reached the milestone of 50 signed and opened hotels in more than 20 countries – marking IHG’s fastest-ever global expansion. Now, voco Orchard Singapore is heading to the heart of the nation’s famous main shopping and entertainment district and a bustling centre of leisure and business.

A far cry from the bustling shopping district of today, Orchard Road was previously home to pepper farms, nutmeg plantations, and the namesake fruit orchards. Tributes to this rich history will be layered throughout the guest experience – from the intoxicating citrus grapefruit and pink peppercorn fragrance of the hotel lobby as guests ‘come on in’, to homemade spiced cookies, which are offered to all guests
