This accolade highlights Michelin’s rigorous selection process and hom’s dedication to innovative cuisine, ethereal ambiance, and exceptional talent.
hom is the sole restaurant in Phuket that has revolutionized dining by embracing fermentation-enhanced cuisine, ancient techniques, and locally-sourced ingredients, all set in the exquisite Heaven or Sawan Pavilion at InterContinental Phuket Resort. It is a culinary gem that has only graced Phuket’s dining scene since its opening in June 2023.
Michelin Guide is renowned for its discerning taste and commitment to acknowledging only the finest establishments. To receive such recognition within just five months of operation is a testament to the exceptional quality that hom brings to Phuket’s culinary landscape.

The inaugural 10-moment tasting menu at hom showcases ingredients sourced from Phuket, incorporating ancient fermentation techniques that create new and unexpected flavours. The restaurant is dedicated to locavorism, prioritizing ingredients that grow or live nearby, ensuring the freshness and authenticity of every dish.
The restaurant is situated in the spectacular Sawan Pavilion. The captivating journey to the pavilion is rich with stories of 14th-century Buddhist cosmology, which inspired the pavilion’s design. Guests are welcomed by hom’s team and guided through serene, symmetrical gardens, creating an enchanting, ethereal atmosphere.
Furthermore, hom is the second restaurant at InterContinental Phuket Resort to receive Michelin recognition, following Jaras, which was listed in the Michelin Guide since 2022. The dining experience at hom commences after an introduction to their innovative use of fermentation techniques to elevate ingredient flavours. The 10-moment tasting menu is priced at THB3,750++ per head, with options for beverage pairings including the fermentation-focused pairing at THB950++ per head and the wine pairing at THB2,750++ per head. hom is open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 6:30 pm.
