Shangri-La Phnom Penh soft-opens as brand’s first hotel in Cambodia

Phnom Penh soft-opening Shangri-La news: the first Shangri-La hotel in Cambodia has opened as of 16 December 2024. The hotel is located near key attractions, including the Royal Palace and National Museum, as well as government offices and embassies, offering convenient access to travellers.

The Hotel will house 303 luxurious guestrooms and suites, and features a range of high-end amenities, including the highest rooftop bar in Cambodia – Altitude, with a sky pool overlooking the panoramic views of the city, and a signature Chinese restaurant – Shang Palace. The Hotel will also feature health and wellness offerings, event spaces and meeting facilities.

As part of the phase one opening of Shangri-La Phnom Penh, a select number of guest rooms and dining options will be available for guests to enjoy, including the Mekong Lounge and the all-day-dining restaurant – Kommune, offering international cuisines and local flavours.
