Hilton Doubletree Jakarta hotel openings: Two new property launches; DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran and DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya, underscores Hilton’s commitment to expand the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Indonesia’s bustling capital city. They join Hilton’s current portfolio of two DoubleTree by Hilton properties, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro and DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya, to offer business and leisure travellers even greater access to stylish accommodations and thoughtfully designed amenities, as well as meetings and event spaces for business meetings and social gatherings.

“Indonesia is home to some of the most sought-after destinations in the region, and the dynamic city of Jakarta is at the heart of it all. With its vibrant nightlife, retail offerings, unique cultural attractions and a thriving central business district, Jakarta is a prime destination for both corporate and holiday travels,” said Alexandra Murray, area vice president & head, South East Asia, Hilton. “The openings of DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran and DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya signify our commitment to Indonesia, a market we will continue to invest in and an important driver to Hilton’s growth in South East Asia.”

DoubleTree by Hilton is a fast-growing, upscale hotel brand that has been providing travellers with warm welcomes and thoughtful amenities for over 55 years. Driven by recent and upcoming hotel openings across Asia Pacific, including the two latest openings in Jakarta, the award-winning brand is set to mark another significant milestone as it surpasses 100 properties in the region. With nearly 80 additional properties in the Asia Pacific pipeline, DoubleTree by Hilton will contribute to Hilton’s target to surpass 1,000 trading hotels in this region by 2025.

The iconic chocolate chip cookie continues to be a lasting trademark, emphasising DoubleTree’s commitment to prioritizing spaces and moments that leave guests uplifted and inspired. To celebrate the 100th DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Asia Pacific, the brand recently announced the launch of ‘Share a Feel Good Moment Month’. This initiative marks one of its largest communications activations in the region for the brand, driving a coordinated celebration of this milestone across 13 countries and regions. Happening from 1 to 5 July 2024, guests staying at DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in Asia Pacific will receive a specially designed postcard upon check-in. They are encouraged to share a Feel Good Moment with loved ones by mailing them through the property. Recipients can then redeem a delicious chocolate chip cookie at any DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in the region until 31 July 2024. Featuring nine unique postcard designs from local charitable organizations across Australasia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Thailand, the initiative aims to foster connections and create meaningful impact beyond borders.

“We are pleased to build on our success in Indonesia and expand our portfolio of DoubleTree by Hilton hotels to offer the perfect balance of convenience and comfort for all travellers. The DoubleTree by Hilton brand is synonymous with stays that are warm and inviting, and we look forward to inspiring more guests with feel-good moments from check-in to check-out,” said Vincent Ong, vice president, full service brands, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya

DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya marked its debut on 15 June 2024 in the vibrant city of Bintaro, boasting 184 thoughtfully designed rooms, including Deluxe Suites and Premium Suites. The hotel is strategically connected to Bintaro Xchange Mall 2 and located near local attractions such as the BX Sea oceanarium and BX Rink ice skating rink, as well as Jurang Mangu train station.

As the first full-service hotel in the area, this hotel offers a comprehensive suite of facilities to cater to the varying needs of each guest. Taking inspiration from the local Betawi culture and the natural beauty of the Bintaro tree, the rooms incorporate floral accents reminiscent of locally-farmed Vanda Douglas orchids, crafting a culturally rich, unique and visually striking guest experience.

Guests can rejuvenate themselves at the outdoor swimming pool which offers panoramic city views, or the fully-equipped 24-hour fitness centre. DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya’s culinary offerings include OPEN, an all-day dining restaurant where guests can enjoy a comforting take on authentic Indonesian recipes, and lobby lounge THE KOFFEE, for light bites and coffee.

The hotel elevates event hosting with an array of versatile venues that can cater up to 1,200 guests. These include a grand ballroom, a sleek boardroom for intimate meetings, four unique meeting rooms, and dedicated bridal suites, all designed with meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, the hotel boasts a multi-functional area called the WattleTree, which can accommodate up to 80 guests and is suited for weddings, birthdays and other special occasions. Bathed in natural daylight and featuring a terrace, WattleTree creates a picturesque backdrop for inspiring moments. All event spaces are conveniently located on a single floor, providing seamless accessibility from the hotel lobby and the adjacent shopping mall.
