The 2023 ‘Bazaar Ramadan Buffet’ is available at Hilton Kuala Lumpur hotel as part of the ‘Citarasa Serantau’ Ramadan campaign from Hilton, from 22 March to 21 April 2023.

‘Bazaar’s is certainly no understatement for this year’s edition, which includes food galore! The all-day dining outlet of the hotel, Vasco’s, features more than 300 dishes with thirty of its signature dishes and ‘action stalls’ that promises a feast for the senses. The taste buds turn to high alert just by the sight of the spread and its greatly creative selection! It is described as “a break-fast tribute to Malaysia’s culinary diversity”, including themed buffets and sahur (morning meal before fast) buffet.

Citarasa Serantau which means flavours or taste from the region, not only highlights local favourites but also dishes from our neighbouring countries like Indonesia and Thailand.

And it all turns out to surpass one’s high expectations with its delicious and innovative mixing of cuisines. Inspired by Malaysia’s unique cultural tapestry and culinary heritage, the chefs have added magnificent Asian cooking and tastes to western food for instance – usually called ‘fusion food’ and here done with perfection.

Among those are the ‘Must Try’-dishes Penne seafood balado sauce (spicy sauce from Indonesia), Spaghetti seafood mamak style (Indian-Muslim mamak fried mee meand stir-fried spaghetti) and pizza slices: saty with onion and red chilli as well as Spiced minced lamb keema pizza with roasted capcicum!

Other ‘Must Tries’ include awesome Stir-fried black mussel, Lamb shank Mandi (Arabic rice with lamb) & Chicken leg kabsah, and the Southeast Asian sour-and-spicy fish stew dishes ‘Asam Pedas Kepala Ikan Dengan Bendi’ and ‘Asam Pedas Ekor Dengan Tomato’.

Other premium signature dishes include Laksa goreng with New Zealand mussel meat, Udang harimau masak sambal nenas (a prawn dish), Popia soft shell crab and mushroom mozzarella and more.

Ramadan special desserts are also too irresistible to say no to, such as Sticky date oudding with caramel sauce, Serawa pulut durian, Durian goring (fried crispy durian), Bomboloni (Italian filled doughnut) and red velvet doughnut, Buko (coconut custard peie), , Durian Crepe and Batik cheese indulgence.

And as promised by Hilton Kualas Lumpur, the food served is fresh, of high quality and definitely tastes exceptional. It is a Ramadan buffet that surely must be among the top-ranking ones in Malaysia!
