Chinese New Year: a grand reunion at StraitsKitchen

The restaurant takes centre stage with a lavish buffet of Singapore’s most beloved signature dishes that honours traditions while catering to modern sensibilities.

The Chinese New Year’s Eve Reunion Dinner on 16 February, as well as lunch and dinner on the first two days of the new year on 17 and 18 February, are priced at SGD 118++ per adult and SGD 59++ per child. Each dining experience includes a complimentary Yu Sheng, symbolising prosperity, abundance, and shared aspirations for the year ahead.

Highlights from the festive buffet include Double Happiness and Good Luck Yu Sheng with smoked Atlantic salmon, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall featuring a rich double-boiled chicken broth with abalone and dried scallop, wok-fried Alaska scallop with asparagus and lily bulb, braised dried oysters with black moss, crispy marble goby with sweet and sour plum sauce, and wok-fried Indo-China mud crab with salted egg yolk and curry leaf. The celebration concludes on a sweet note with Prosperous Traditional Crispy Rice Cake.

For those who wish to celebrate beyond the festive dates, à la carte Yu Sheng is available from 6 February to 3 March, offered in Medium (SGD 58++, serves four to six persons) and Large (SGD 78++, serves seven to ten persons) portions.

Ramadan and Hari Raya Puasa

From 19 February to 19 March 2026, StraitsKitchen transitions seamlessly into its Ramadan offerings, inviting guests to gather with loved ones over a lavish Iftar buffet inspired by timeless traditions and vibrant local flavours.

The Ramadan dinner buffet is priced at SGD 98++ per adult and SGD 52++ per child (6–12 years old). Highlights include a colourful mezze selection, barbecue specialties such as Udang Bakar, grilled beef with green chilli sauce and Kambing Panggang, as well as Ramadan-exclusive live stations including rotating soup offerings and a shawarma station.

Hari Raya Eve and Hari Raya Puasa feasts take place on 20 March 2026 (dinner) and 21 March 2026 (lunch and dinner) featuring festive highlights, such as a special carving station with Daging Panggang, alongside an indulgent dessert showcase. Guests can look forward to The Date Bazaar, presenting an assortment of premium dates, dried fruits and Middle Eastern sweets including baklava, basbousa, ladida coconut, aish al-saraya and kasih halva.
