Red Corner Campari outlet news: A unique branded hotel flagship outlet called Red Corner has been set up by Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social restaurant of Cordis, Hong Kong hotel. In partnership with the beverage brand Campari, the outlet delivers a brand-new sensory and authentic Italian experience for cocktail lovers for the first time. Including Campari-branded red features from the wall décor to bar display, tailored cocktail menu and exclusive events, Red Corner turns into one of the hottest spots for drinks and casual hangouts.

A new series of expertly curated cocktails

Guests are warmly welcomed by an appealing Red Corner display featuring a specially designed wall signage and tailor-made LED-lit chair at the entrance of Alibi. Be ready to indulge in the brand’s iconic red light vibes and enjoy a range of new bespoke cocktails curated by Leo Ko, Director of Beverage of the hotel and World Bartender of the Year at the IBA World Cocktail Championship 2023, and the team of mixologists of Alibi. Highlights on the menu include Campari-based ‘Coco is bleeding’ and ‘Am I old enough?’ as well as refreshing ‘Reality’ and locally-inspired ‘De Miss’.

Coco is bleeding
Inspired by the Hong Kong-style dessert, Mango Coconut Sago Soup, Leo infuses the Campari base with a fresh coconut topped with Lychee Caviar and homemade Campari candy garnish, bringing an exotic flavour with a taste of the local dessert. Don’t be terrified by the “bleed” as you pour the red mixture from the coconut.

Am I old enough?
With a strong base of Campari, Vermouth and Brandy, the cocktail is aged in a barrel before served, giving a smoky twist and a slight aroma of Ginseng.

Reality
Guests who prefer a light and refreshing flavour should try Reality, a Vodka-based cocktail blended with Soda, Seaweed, Mint, Butter, as well as a touch of Citrus and Peach, which is refreshing, fruit and tart enough especially for a hot day.

De Miss
Another must-try locally-inspired cocktail which has a base of Gin, Vermouth and Soya. While the Salted Egg adds a hint of savoury taste, the creamy foam made of Hong Kong-style Egg Puff balances the texture and enhances the layers of flavours.

To kick off the first-ever “Red Corner”, Alibi and Campari will host a launch party event on 19 April, 2024 (Friday) from 7pm to 10pm, inviting cocktail, wine and spirit enthusiasts in town to unveil the vibrant ‘Red Corner’, discover the inspiring cocktail creations by Leo and his team, as well as enjoy savoury delights and upbeat live music with DJ performance. To shake up the vibes, Brand Ambassador of Campari Group Hong Kong and award-winning mixologist, Delphine Kong, will be shifting and bringing a range of Campari-based cocktails to the guests. Cocktail is priced from HKD118 per glass, advance reservation is required, please contact Alibi directly for more details.

Other than tailored cocktails, the Alibi and Campari team will also bring over exclusive masterclasses and exciting guest shifts and events to the ‘Red Corner’, which will run throughout a year, including Aperitivo Masterclass, Italian Week Masterclass and Campari Negroni Week guest shift.
