In one of the most breathtakingly-beautiful seaside destinations in the world, guests at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui are spoiled for choice when it comes to planning that special dinner for a loved one, friends and family. From private sala dinners under the stars to seaside serenades at ocean’s edge, every occasion is highlighted by special dining experiences.
“Love feeds the soul,” smiles Branka Novakovic, Director of Restaurants and Bars, reflecting on the personalized and genuine care offered to guests at each venue. “Being a seaside resort, seafood is often the highlight on the menus, but whether it is Asian delicacies or BBQs on the beach, our team of chefs here are experts at creating a menu just for the occasion.”
Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui In-Villa Comfort
Besides an extensive, round-the-clock in-villa dining menu, the resort offers private dining experiences that are best enjoyed in the privacy of the villa. Intimate and full of local flavour, the Thai-style BBQ or Moo Kra Ta is best enjoyed on the deck of the villa, so guests can enjoy romantic meal for two under the stars. “Opt for a street-side experience such as Moo Kra Ta, or a Bucket BBQ with seafood and desserts,” shares Executive Sous Chef Shanmuga Raja Ravi. There’s nothing more personal than having Raja and his team curate a menu and cook it a la minute. “Guests staying in the Private Retreats can enjoy an in-residence BBQ or set dinner in the luxury of their dining room or by the poolside deck,” Branka adds.
Hilltop Soiree
The spectacular sala overlooking the Gulf of Thailand sets the mood for the evening, as the sun dips across the horizon. A specially curated Thai meal with wine pairings here brings the romance full circle. “Start off your evening with some wines and Thai tapas,” recommends Branka. “The Private Sala also offers the best vantages to catch the sunset at our Resort.”
“Theatre” takes on a new meaning at the interactive and indulgent Chef’s Table. The seven-course tasting menu is shared with other culinary enthusiasts in a special area of the Koh Thai Kitchen, “Our chefs share personal insights and kitchen secrets as they cook up an inspired Thai meal,” says Raja.
At Ocean’s Edge
Momentous and magical all at once, the dining experience at water’s edge is the ultimate expression of love. At the Once in a Blue Moon private cove, guests are serenaded with live khim music, while the team serves up a special menu for two paired with fine wines and Champagne. “We have just one table each evening so make sure you book it in advance!” warns Branka.
Adjacent to the vibrant CoCoRum Bar is a table that extends into infinity. Here, classic rum cocktails and fine vintages are highlighted by a Latin-American dining experience. “At the Infinity Dining, look for the Peruvian ceviche and king crab causa on this five-course signature menu,” shares Raja.
As the Gulf of Thailand glistens just beyond, the private dining experiences come alive with thoughtful menus and fine additions – whether it is at water’s edge, at the hilltop, or in the comfort of the plush villas.
