Jono Bangkok Asok Hotel

As the end of 2022 draws near, Jono Bangkok Asok Hotel (‘Jono Bangkok’) has been launched in Thailand by Boutique Corporation Public Company Limited (‘Boutique‘). Squarely aimed at the younger active generation, the hotel depicts the ultimate sanctuary for digital nomads who wish to work, play, relax and explore Bangkok’s vibrant Sukhumvit area.

Jono Bangkok offers a stylish select-service lifestyle experience that encompasses everything nomadic travellers require to stay connected without the unnecessary frills of a quintessential hotel experience. Perched in the heart of the action, the hotel sits just 450m away from Asok BTS Station and Sukhumvit MRT station, putting the entire metropolis and its iconic shopping malls and business facilities at travellers’ fingertips.

The hotel’s lobby essentially forms a co-working zone – as a creative space for the gests, where they can check out the super speedy WiFi, catch up on emails or just chat and chill with fellow nomads over a cup of coffee.

“Built around the premise of being a base from which nomads can clear their minds and conquer a destination, Jono Hotels sets out to bring all the various touch points of a tech-savvy and forward-thinking hotel chain into consonance, creating the ultimate journey of the nomad. With a fuss-free hassle-free mantra, the resulting guest experience is never dull, and exciting without being exhausting. This is Jono Hotels, and Jono Bangkok exemplifies the brand and the Journey of the Nomad!,” said Björn Richardson, Senior Vice President – Hospitality and Property Operations at Boutique.

In the hunt for the ultimate social experience, the hotel’s lobby doubles as a sleek co-working space complete with a pantry, microwave and complimentary coffee to keep guests fuelled throughout the day. The lobby also shares its space with KANA Pure Dispensary, Boutique’s bespoke cannabis brand that recently launched in Thailand.

The hotel features 65 rooms in three categories: Recharge, RechargeX and Snooze Black-Out. At 14 square meters, the Recharge rooms offer a cosy and comfortable corner just right for nomads to get that much-needed rest after a long day of rebellious exploration. The RechargeX rooms have that bit of XTRA space to stretch those legs, kick back, and relax. Lastly, the Snooze Black-Out rooms are the ultimate cocoon for rest to ultra-charge your batteries and get ready for more adventures.

All rooms feature a host of technology like the 50″ smart TVs that let guests stream Netflix and YouTube right from their mobile devices and come with cable channels. Additionally, guests have ultimate control over their rooms with the Jono App, which doubles as a remote for the TVs and climate control, but also allows communication with the Jono Crew in their native language!

Jono Bangkok’s launch comes less than a month after the successful opening of JonoX Phuket Karon Hotel, the brand’s first management property, which is almost fully booked until the end of January 2023, further cementing the brand’s strength as Thailand continues to experience its long-awaited tourism recovery spurred by increased international and domestic travel.
