From 15 January to 29 February 2024, the elegant dining destination in the heart of the city will celebrate the season with refined menus and a luxurious selection of Lunar New Year delights from Man Fu Yuan along with holiday-inspired à la carte and handcrafted cakes selection from The Lobby Lounge and an abundant Lunar New Year Sunday Champagne Buffet spread at LUCE by Davide Giacomelli. Man Fu Yuan’s 60-inch ‘Dragon’s wealth’ YU SHENG

Upholding Man Fu Yuan’s tradition of welcoming the Lunar New Year with a 60-inch Yu Sheng, the show-stopping ‘Dragon’s Wealth’ Yu Sheng ($888++ serves up to 10 guests) features a magnificent dragon head and tail that symbolises strength, power, health, and good luck for the New Year. Crafted with precision and adorned with luxurious ingredients including rock lobster, sea urchin, ikura, shredded dried Hokkaido scallops, salmon sashimi and crispy fish skin, completed with a dash refreshing honey miso golden peach dressing and shallot oil. Adding on to the fun element of a Yu Sheng, each ‘Dragon’s Wealth’ Yu Sheng comes with four lucky numbers for an auspicious new year ahead.

Diners may also opt for Man Fu Yuan’s three other Yu Sheng selection – Prosperity Yu Sheng ($188++ serves up to 10 guests, $128++ serves up to 5 guests) packed with premium ingredients such as the crispy shredded dried Hokkaido scallops, rock lobster, ikura, salmon sashimi, crispy fish skin topped with the new honey miso golden peach dressing; or Abundance Yu Sheng ($138++ serves up to 10 guests, $98++ serves up to 5 guests) with salmon sashimi, ikura, crispy fish skin topped with honey miso golden peach dressing. Upholding the tradition of masterfully created dishes at Man Fu Yuan, Executive Chinese Chef Aaron Tan and his team have put together a bevy of specialty dishes steeped in auspiciousness. With a selection of eight different set menus, diners can be assured of a suitable option, whether for an intimate dining for two persons, or an extravagant gathering for ten or more persons.

For a fuss-free menu catering to big groups, the five-course Blissfulness Prix-Fixe Menu priced at $888++ for five guests features a grand display of Man Fu Yuan’s signatures including the Man Fu Yuan Abundance Treasure Pot, brimming with over 18 premium ingredients such as the five-head whole abalone, rock lobster, premium sea cucumber, tiger palm mushroom, dried whole scallop, South Africa fish maw and dace fish ball. Conclude the meal with the all-time favourite – Chilled Pumpkin Purée, Logan, Lotus Seed and Peach Collagen with Sweet Golden Nian Gao.

The lavish seven-course Harvest Prix-Fixe Menu is one extravagant feast to please. Priced at $1,498++ for 5 guests, the menu features top-notch quality ingredients. New on the menu, and a must-try this year; is the Baked Purple Sweet Potatoes Nian Gao Tart with Man Fu Yuan Tea Bag ($48.80nett, 8 pieces). Delicately handcrafted by the culinary team at Man Fu Yuan, the new Nian Gao Tart features a balanced and smooth sweet potato filling topped with shredded coconut and edible gold leaf, encased within a crisp, buttery tart. Man Fu Yuan’s new Ingots Nian Gao Tart with Man Fu Yuan Tea Bag ($48.80nett, 8 pieces) symbolises prosperity and growth, a must-have during Lunar New Year.

A treasure trove of prized ingredients, Man Fu Yuan Abundance Treasure Pot ($498nett, serves up to 5 guests) takes centre stage once again this year.

The dish comprises over 18 ingredients with highlights such as rock lobster, premium sea cucumber, five-head whole abalone, tiger palm mushroom, dried whole scallop, South Africa fish maw, goose web, pig trotters, dace fish ball, oysters, chicken wings and preserved Kurobuta sausage, pork liver sausage, Japanese premium flower mushroom and more.
