The vintage colonial-tropical-inspired glamping resort serves as a sanctuary of romance and enchantment, offering an idyllic island hideaway.
Its guests are driven the short ride to Catch Beach Club, via its very own access road, and through the web of narrow roads connecting the venue to Twinpalms resort in nearby Surin, Cherng Talay’s dining and shopping, and so on.
The renowned beach club serves the full breakfast 7:30 am – 10:30 am, when there will be plenty of tables (with shiny, sandy marble tops) and other seating of one’s choice to choose from. Delight in the blissful morning will catching a glimpse of – and perhaps of some schools of fish, if going snorkelling afterwards. Some sunseekers can also be spotted early in the day, who are out to get their favourite spot until it gets occupied by others. But within Catch there is really no lack of dedicated dining spaces to match your mood – be it at tables, daybeds or cabanas!

And, here, a significant detail should be pointed out that in in general far from can be taken for granted; namely that at Catch the tables and seats are not only designed to give good comfort, but are also at the correct height (neither too high tables and nor with too low chairs)!
At the table find an à la minute ‘From the Kitchen’ menu with a selection of hot dishes, and a Charcuterie plate including Emmental, brie, blue cheese, smoked ham, beef pastrami, chorizo and dried fruit. For egg dishes choose from Smoked salmon & scrambled egg with parmesan and fresh rocket or Spanish omelette with bell pepper, onion and cherry tomato. For sides, choose from smoked salmon, chicken sausage, bacon and green salad.
The Spanish omelette comes out well grilled, and in a cast iron plate. It’s really hot and delicious, prompting to order a second one!

The Triple mini pancake with maple syrup, berries, whipped cream is another yummy breakfast staple, along with various self-service items such as freshly-pressed juices, milk, yoghurt, muesli and nuts with which to make one’s own Bircher muesli. Excellent pastries and freshly baked bread are also on offer.
As a warm soup Thai chicken congee with condiments is on offer. And being in Asia there is of course also some Chinese dim sum: Shrimp shumai, pork bun, shrimp Hakao.
And to enhance that vacation mode and discerning beach club atmosphere further, breakfast guests also get to enjoy prosecco, here the Private Cuvée Brut – Zardetto. Just the look of the prosecco in the glass, with the west coast turquoise sea as backdrop, elevates this Joie de vivre experience! This bubbly golden yellow sparkling wine made from Chardonnay, Glera, and Moscato grapes offers wonderfully expressive aromas of apricot, jasmine, vineyard peach and pear, and works really well along with breakfast food – savoury as well as sweet items! What a start of the day – be it one for work or leisure.
