Available every weekday (Monday – Friday, except public holidays) from 12:00 – 14:30 hrs., from 2 September – 1 November 2024.
Giacomo Vinci, the hotel’s Sicilian master chef, is inviting hotel guests and discerning local residents to enliven their lunchtime at Rossini’s, the Michelin-rated ristorante that looks and feels like a traditional Tuscan villa. Situated just steps from bustling Sukhumvit Road, this elegant dining destination immerses the senses in the flavours and fragrances of Italy’s dazzling and diverse regions – from the rolling hills of Piedmont and Lombardy in the north, to the culinary heartlands of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, and the serene shores and glittering seas of Campania and Sicily in the south.
With a choice of appetizers, main courses and desserts that highlight the finest ingredients from the country’s farms, fields and fisheries, including vegetarian dishes, this epicurean adventure is suitable for every palate.
The summertime set lunch menu commences with a selection of exquisite appetizers, including calamari ripieni alla Siciliana (Sicilian calamari filled with capers, pine nuts and squid tentacles on salmoriglio sauce), mortadella ai ferri su stracciatella di bufala (grilled mortadella ham from the ancient city of Bologna, served on buffalo stracciatella cheese, rocket salad and toasted pistachios), or zuppa di pomodori San Marzano arrostiti (a vibrant red tomato soup using roasted San Marzano tomatoes from Campania, with goat’s cheese ricotta).
Guests can then choose from a trio of mesmerizing Mediterranean main courses: linguine ai broccoli selvatici con ricotta salata e sentore di limone (Chef Giacomo’s own linguine pasta with sautéed broccolini, salted ricotta and lemon aroma), branzino all’ acqua pazza con patate arrosto (delicately poached sea bass with fresh cherry tomatoes, olives and oregano, served on roasted potatoes), and cosciotto di anatra servito con cavolo, purea di patate e salsa all’arancia (slow-cooked leg of duck with orange sauce, served on creamy mashed potatoes with cabbage).
Every lunchtime can end with a burst of freshness as Chef Giacomo presents a choice of two desserts: macedonia di frutta di stagione (seasonal fresh fruit salad served on lemon sorbet) or cannoli alla Siciliana ripieni di ricotta e cioccolato (a traditional Sicilian sweet treat of pastry tubes filled with chocolate and ricotta mousse).
Rossini’s new set lunch menu is available every weekday (Monday – Friday, except public holidays) from 12:00 – 14:30 hrs., from 2 September – 1 November 2024. Diners can curate their own two- or three-course menu, with a main course and a dessert priced at THB 720++, an appetizer and a main course available for THB 880++, and the full three-course meal – appetizer, main course and dessert – priced at just THB 1,200++.
