Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa is proud to present a unique collaboration with The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta. The Sheraton Yogyakarta culinary roadshow presents Executive Chef Ferdian Tobing on September 24, 2022 at the Suko Wine Lounge on the 7th floor of Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta. Guests can lavishly enjoy Chef Tobing’s Indonesian-style dishes that have been modified in a fine dining format. Experience Indonesian cuisine differently, this fine-dining set menu can be enjoyed for IDR 388.000- net per person, including a glass of wine. With this price, guests can, part of the ‘Nusantara Culinary Roadshow’, enjoy the following:
– Amouche Bouche; Kecombrang Goyang, Pecel surprise starter
– UDANG SAOS PADANG; scramble, corn starter
– MIE AYAM JAMUR; black truffle, soy chicken, lemongrass foam
– MANGUT; smoked fish, megono, coconut
– WAGWAG GUNG; wagyu dendeng age, nasi jagung, kangkung
– KUE KIPO; ‘enten-enten’, glutinuous, mango cream
– WINE; A glass of Hatten Wine

Chef Tobing brings with him over 24 years of experience in the culinary industry, working with five star hotels and notable F&B groups in South East Asia. He has been involved with rebranding projects for restaurants and was a part of the pre-opening team of a luxury hotel in Jakarta. Throughout the years, he has become more passionate with the contemporary take on traditional dishes using local ingredients and modern techniques.

Chef Tobing and his team have picked various Indonesian heritage delicacies and will prepare them using modern techniques and present them in a fascinating way. “We want to bring a new perspective to 1928 Restaurant’s patrons on how to enjoy Indonesian dishes in a modern and sophisticated way,” says Ferdian Tobing, Executive Chef of The Hermitage Jakarta.
