Campari is bringing that talent to the region through a programme of guest shifts, collaborations and exclusive events, with acclaimed bartenders from globally recognised bars bringing their creativity, craftsmanship and passion for the iconic Negroni to venues across Asia Pacific.

Campari is hosting Alex Kratena and Monica Berg of Tayēr + Elementary, Giorgio Bargiani of The Connaught Bar, Iain McPherson of Panda & Sons and Erik Lorincz of Kwānt London, appearing alongside the bartenders shaping Asia’s own cocktail scene, from Guangzhou and Shanghai to Jakarta, Bangkok and Singapore.

From award-winning cocktail destinations to rising stars shaping the future of hospitality, these bartenders represent the spirit of Negroni Week: connection, creativity and community.

In 2025, almost 15,000 bars and restaurants across more than 90 countries participated in Negroni Week, helping raise a combined $700,000 that has supported educational scholarships and community-based projects around the world. For Negroni Week 2026, the Negroni Week Fund will continue to be distributed by Slow Food to directly support the hospitality community in helping preserve cultural and biological diversity, promoting food and beverage education with knowledge exchange, and fostering equity and wellness.

Celebrating mixology culture across bar and restaurant partners, Campari has further extended its commitment to supporting Negroni Week’s charitable goals by inspiring bartenders and consumers to craft their own stories around the red heart of the world’s best-selling classic cocktail.

Negroni Week brings together bartenders, bars and consumers around the world to raise awareness and support charitable causes while celebrating one of the world’s most iconic cocktails. Whether discovering a new interpretation of the classic recipe or meeting the pioneers behind the bar, Negroni Week gives cocktail lovers an opportunity to connect with the people shaping the future of hospitality.

Symphony Loo, Regional Trade Advocacy Manager, Asia Pacific, Campari Group, commented: “Negroni Week is about bringing people together through great cocktails and great hospitality. By welcoming some of the world’s most respected bartenders to our region, we are creating opportunities for cultural exchange, inspiration and unforgettable guest experiences while supporting a meaningful cause.”

Mattia Carlozzo, Head of Marketing, House of Aperitifs, commented: “We are very proud to be part of such a meaningful project, rooted in our commitment to supporting charitable initiatives within the hospitality industry – the place where the Campari spirit comes to life every day, creating genuine connections, sparking emotions, and standing at the heart of unforgettable moments shared between bartenders and consumers. Through the Slow Food Negroni Fund, we actively contribute to building a fair and sustainable future for the industry, while continuing to inspire the community with creativity and exceptional experiences. As we confirm our strong and successful partnership with Imbibe for the 14th edition of Negroni Week in September 2026, this global activation plays a key role in strengthening the unmistakable and enduring link between Campari and the Negroni – an iconic cocktail, consistently ranked as the #1 best-selling classic in the world’s best bars. Year after year, we are energized by the remarkable enthusiasm of our markets, bringing the initiative to life through outstanding local activations and engaging an ever-growing number of top venues worldwide. Together with Imbibe, we raise our glasses to another successful Negroni Week!”

About the Negoni

It was around the year 1919 in Florence when Count Camillo Negroni contemplated ordering an Americano cocktail but decided it was time for a change. He requested it with a touch of gin instead of soda, inspired by his last trip to London and its prevalent gin scene. The bartender was pleased to honour Count Camillo Negroni’s request and added an orange garnish rather than the lemon wedge of the Americano, to signify the new drink he had created. In Florence, the Count’s ‘usual’ became known as Count Negroni’s Americano, or the “Americano with a touch of gin”, but regardless of how it was referred to back then, the Negroni was born. The Negroni is now one of the most famous contemporary classic cocktails. Anywhere you go in the world, you will find a mixologist who can make you the iconic Negroni. The original recipe, a perfectly balanced combination of equal parts of Campari, sweet red Vermouth, and London Dry gin, is more than a century old and continues to be enjoyed today. According to the Drinks International Cocktail Report 2026, Negroni is the #1 best-selling classic cocktail in the world’s best bars. The International Bartenders Association (IBA) lists Campari as an official ingredient of the Negroni, and thus, there is no Negroni without Campari.
