Dining news for visitors to the southern Thailand resort destination: Krabi Saffron restaurant presents a special ‘Four-Hands Dinner: A Saffron Culinary Journey’ on the evenings of March 4-5, 2025, presented by resident Thai Sous Chef Koranat Wiwatthanachot (Day) and visiting Corporate Saffron Lead Chef from Banyan Tree Phuket, Tipaporn Phianthong (Tipa).
Chefs Day and Tipa will showcase their combined expertise and creativity through a special four-course menu, with each course paired with a selected glass of Thailand’s acclaimed Monsoon Valley wine, and accompanied by live music and a complimentary welcome drink featuring crafted by the resort’s own mixologist using Phraya Rum Elements 8 Years.

The choice of starters includes a tropical fruit salad with seared scallop and tangy mango dressing; followed by Thailand’s favourite tom kha soup in coconut and galangal with pork-stuffed squid. Guests may choose an entry of either Massaman Tenderloin or grilled sea bass in a southern Thai style turmeric curry paste. And to conclude this culinary journey, dessert will feature ‘Flower Shaped Dumpling filled with Caramelized Coconut, and served with Coconut Sauce and Cashew Nut Ice Cream’.
This unique gastronomic event will commence at 6:30pm on both evenings, and is located at Saffron, overlooking Banyan Tree Krabi resort on Tubkaek Beach.
