Firefly Krabi Kuala Lumpur flights: On 17 November the Malaysia Airlines subsidiary commenced daily direct flights, offering seamless travel access for Thai travellers to Malaysia’s vibrant capital city. The service operates using the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with a capacity of 189 seats per flight, to cater to the increasing travel demand between both destinations.
To mark the occasion, a send-off ceremony was held at the boarding gate, where passengers were presented with commemorative tokens. The event was graced by senior MAG (Malaysia Airlines Group) leaders, including Captain Hamdan Che Ismail, COO of Firefly, and Dersenish Aresandiran, CCO of Airline Business of MAG.
Captain Hamdan Che Ismail said, “This new direct service from Kuala Lumpur underscores Firefly’s commitment to strengthening our footprint across Asia and enhancing regional connectivity. More importantly, this strategic expansion enables passengers from our sister airline, Malaysia Airlines, to seamlessly connect from major international hubs directly into Krabi, further elevating the overall travel experience.”
