The Singapore Cocktail Crossover (SGCX) makes its debut from 9–14 June 2026 as a citywide celebration of cocktail culture, inviting the public to discover drinks beyond the bar. Guided by its tagline, ‘Cocktails x Lifestyle – As One,’ SGCX unfolds across Singapore rather than in a single venue, turning neighbourhood bars into an integral part of the experience. Over six days, guests can explore a series of collaborations and activations led by bars, bartenders and lifestyle partners, designed to be experienced interactively and collectively. The opening four days unfold through curated pop-ups and takeovers across the city’s heritage districts, while the final two days bring guests together at the newly opened METT Singapore, offering a refined backdrop to drink, connect, and celebrate the city’s evolving cocktail culture in a unique heritage setting.
“SGCX was born from a collective feeling that cocktail culture was ready to grow beyond its traditional formats,” share the founders. “It is about bringing cocktails into a wider lifestyle context, creating a platform that feels open, dynamic, and reflective of how people experience culture today.”

Vijay Mudaliar – Founder of Native
The name itself reflects this vision: SG nods to Singapore’s local familiarity and global reputation, C stands for cocktail while also representing culture and community, and X signifies crossover, both as a crossroads for ideas and the X-factor that reflects the talent of its participants.
About the Event: Redefining Cocktail Culture Across the City
Structured across two distinct phases, SGCX is projected to welcome over 2,500 lifestyle enthusiasts to experience cocktail culture in different ways. The opening four days activate the city through a rolling programme of collaborations, where leading bars, guest bartenders and standout lifestyle partners from the worlds of food, style and music come together to curate one-of-a-kind experiences. These will range from cocktail and food pairings and spirits-meets-art showcases to immersive sensory workshops or cocktail sessions shaped by live music – each offering new ways to explore flavour, creativity and culture. Each day is anchored in a different heritage neighbourhood, with participating brands, bars, bartenders and creative collaborators uniting to spotlight talent and pay homage to the rich diversity of Singapore’s hospitality and nightlife scene.

Caryn Cheah – Founder of Lil Big
The final two days culminate in a purpose-built experiential festival at the METT Singapore, where the momentum built across the city comes together in a single, immersive environment. Guests can explore a curated international and regional line-up of The World’s & Asia’s 50 Best Bars, alongside a broad selection of chefs, artists, musicians, and designers, all delivered through immersive, cross-disciplinary experiences that blend cocktails with culture and creativity. Award-winning bars taking part include:
- Bar Leone (Hong Kong) No.1 World’s 50 Best Bars 2025

“By bringing together diverse bar cultures, philosophies, and creative practices, SGCX positions Singapore as a meeting point for cocktail enthusiasts across the Asia-Pacific, energising the community and breathing new life into the way people experience cocktails,” says Vijay Mudaliar.

Peter Chua – Director of Composed Concepts
Across both phases, programming is designed to be open, approachable, and engaging. From established names to emerging voices, SGCX places equal emphasis on celebrating craft while making cocktail culture more accessible to a wider audience. Supported by brand partners including The Orientalist Spirits, William Grant & Sons, Remy Cointreau International, Suntory Global Spirits, Brown-Forman, Campari Group, Singha, Perrier and several other regional and international names, the event offers multiple entry points for guests to taste, learn, and participate, whether they are seasoned cocktail lovers or simply curious to explore.
“Singapore’s cocktail scene is ready to evolve beyond traditional formats, with the aim of weaving spirits and cocktails into the social fabric of a new generation of consumers,” says Henry Stonham, ex-Project Head of Bar Convent Singapore.
Building on the foundations laid by earlier movements, SGCX represents a natural progression for a maturing cocktail culture, expanding beyond bars and trade halls into a lifestyle-led space shaped by cross-disciplinary collaboration.
SGCX: community-oriented team
At its core, SGCX is guided by the ethos “By the community. For the community,” creating meaningful connections between people, places, and creative disciplines while celebrating the craft, talent, and passion that define Singapore’s bar scene. The initiative is driven by four industry heavyweights whose expertise spans the full spectrum of cocktail culture: acclaimed bartenders Peter Chua of Night Hawk and Vijay Mudaliar of Native and Analogue Initiative, alongside Henry Stonham and Caryn Cheah, who bring deep experience in event creation, hospitality leadership, and large-scale logistics. Together, they combine hands-on craft, strategic vision, and operational know-how to deliver a platform that celebrates Singapore’s cocktail community while creating engaging experiences for both consumers and the industry.
Vijay Mudaliar – Founder of Native (No.45 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, No.84 World’s 50 Best Bars 2025) and Analogue Initiative (No.35 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, No.47 World’s 50 Best Bars 2024), co-founder of Bae’s Cocktail Club, and widely recognised as one of Asia’s most progressive voices in cocktail culture. Vijay’s research-driven approach and applied R&D platforms have positioned Singapore as a leader in innovative, future-focused hospitality.

Peter Chua – Director of Composed Concepts and one of Singapore’s long-serving hospitality figures. He was part of the opening team at 28 Hong Kong Street and leads award-winning venues such as Night Hawk (No.74 World’s 50 Best Bars 2024, No.77 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025), influencing menu development, staff education, and regional bar culture.
Henry Stonham – Ex-Project Lead of Bar Convent Singapore, connecting local and international bartending communities through world-class events that showcase talent, craft, and creativity.
Caryn Cheah – Founder of Lil Big, with extensive expertise in operations and event strategy. Her portfolio spans Bacardi Legacy, Diageo World Class, Barstars, and Amber Lounge across Singapore, Monaco, Las Vegas, and Abu Dhabi, shaping some of the most recognised competitions and luxury experiences in the industry.
“Singapore has had the privilege of being on the frontier of the cocktail scene in the Asia-Pacific region for the past decade. It only felt right that we as a community should have an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and trials we’ve faced. SGCX is also about shining a light on the depth and diversity of our bar community, bringing attention to incredible venues and talents that people may not yet have discovered,” says Peter Chua.
SGCX will be a cultural arena where cocktail culture intersects with the broader worlds of art, music, food, and fashion. The festival reflects a shift in how cocktails are enjoyed — as part of a wider creative and social ecosystem rather than in isolation.
