Four Seasons Bali retreats wellness news: The luxury brand’s two island resorts offer new wellness retreat packages – as follows:
Central to the retreat concept is the interplay between two worlds: the visible, seen and physical (Sekala) and the invisible, unseen and energetic (Niskala). At The Healing Village Spa at Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay, body analysis, fitness and yoga lay a physical foundation for the exploration of the unseen energies within, around and upon us.

At The Sacred River Spa at Four Seasons Sayan, the focus is on Niskala-inspired rituals and healing practices with the power to affect physical change. In these beachfront and riverside enclaves, healthy dining selections complement the retreats, nourishing the body and enhancing overall wellbeing.

A Journey of Awakening: Sekala Wellness Retreat at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay

The three-night Sekala Wellness Retreat at The Healing Village Spa revolves around bringing awareness to the physical body to facilitate exploration of the inner self. Through a tangible sense of support and healing, the retreat aims to ground, connect and achieve balance. A choice of a warming Balinese massage or osteopathy-inspired Complete Body Alignment awaits on arrival. Innovative 3D VisBody scanning, tailored Pilates classes and the dynamic “flying” experience of AntiGravity Yoga work to address body posture and composition. Contrast therapies in the Spa’s Longevity Garden – from nutrient-rich volcanic mud body masks to an infrared mat and an ice tub – help ease inflammation, boost circulation and enhance overall health. Wrapping up the retreat is a choice of a balancing Gemstone Joy Massage or revolutionary Ultimate Venus Facial.

A Journey of Reflection: Niskala Wellness Retreat at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan

The three-night Niskala Wellness Retreat at The Sacred River Spa connects the unseen energies of the mighty Ayung River with ancient wisdom in treatments with the power to affect physical change. In this pure pocket of jungle-infused nature, holistic harmony meets high-tech healing. Restu Bumi, a spiritual clearing ritual, harnesses traditional instruments and aromatic local herbs. A private yoga session in the jungle-surround Yoga Pavilion is followed by a profound Chakra Ceremony to promote spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional balance. A Sacred Nap delivers indescribable tranquillity, cocooned in a silk hammock embraced by the energies of the valley; emotional and physical rejuvenation is brought by Pulih Batin: breath and contrast therapy – steam, infrared and ice baths – for renewed strength and peace.

Wellness retreat combo: From Sekala to Niskala

For a deeper transformational journey that fuses the physical explorations of Sekala with the introspection of Niskala, combine the two retreats into a six-night immersion: a three-night Sekala Wellness Retreat at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay immediately followed by three nights at the Niskala Wellness Retreat at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan. Complimentary transfer from beachfront Jimbaran Bay to riverside Sayan ensures guests flow effortlessly from Sekala to Niskala.

Commenting on the new retreats, Luisa Anderson, Regional Director of Spa, Four Seasons Resorts Bali says: “With our two very different yet complementary spas in Jimbaran Bay and Sayan we are able to immerse guests in the dual worlds of Bali’s physical and energetic realms. Separately, each three-night retreat offers the scope for personal elevation based on individual wellbeing preferences; together they showcase the combined impacts of elemental rhythms and ancient rituals for a six-night inner and outer, body and spirit immersion that I couldn’t be more excited to share.”

A complimentary daily buffet breakfast starts each retreat day with nourishing local and international fare. Extensive healthy a la carte lunch and dinner options are also available. Fuelled by “Balance by Four Seasons” – the brand’s global, wellness-driven culinary program – all menus have vegan, vegetarian and earth-friendly options that support the wellbeing of guests and planet.

At Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay, a partnership with a certified nutritionist further boosts the healthier menu options; highlights of the Alu restaurant menu include Tasmanian Salmon, Turkish Dips, and Honey-Roasted Pumpkin Iced Buddha Bowl. At Four Seasons Resort Sayan, a new Sattvic-inspired menu showcases vibrant dishes from different Indonesian regions such as Asinan Kelapa Muda made with young coconut, and Rendang Nangka featuring braised jackfruit. Delicious Western options include Charred King Mushrooms with truffle paste, Roasted Cauliflower with yogurt and pomegranate and Chickpea cake with hummus and spinach.
