Hotel Openings

DoubleTree Hilton Singapore opening news: The riverside Robertson Quay hotel is marking the brand’s debut in Singapore and introducing its signature warmth, comfortable hospitality and thoughtful touches to one of the city’s most established riverside neighbourhoods.

Set along the Singapore River, the 344-room hotel pairs the energy of city life with the ease of quayside living, offering a well-connected base for business and leisure travellers. From the moment they arrive, guests are welcomed with the brand’s beloved warm DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie, a symbol of DoubleTree by Hilton’s longstanding commitment to care. That spirit continues throughout the stay, from warm service and thoughtfully designed spaces to familiar comforts that help guests feel relaxed, well looked after and at ease.

Beyond the hotel, guests can easily explore some of Singapore’s most distinctive neighbourhoods, with Robertson Quay, Chinatown, Tiong Bahru and Clarke Quay within walking distance, while the Central Business District is also within easy reach. With Havelock MRT Station about a five-minute walk away and bus connections nearby, the hotel provides convenient access to Orchard Road, Sentosa and destinations across Singapore.

“Singapore continues to be a key market for Hilton in South East Asia, valued for its strong business community, global connectivity, and enduring appeal to travellers from around the world,” shares Alexandra Murray, area vice president and regional head of South East Asia, Hilton. “The debut of DoubleTree by Hilton in Singapore strengthens our portfolio with a brand known for making guests feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. Robertson Quay’s riverside setting and neighbourhood character make it a fitting home for the brand, offering travellers a comfortable base to experience the city at a more relaxed pace while adding a warm new gathering place to the precinct.”

DoubleTree Hilton Singapore opening: comfortable riverside stay

DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay features 344 guest rooms and suites ranging from 24 to 50 square meters, with more than 200 rooms overlooking the Singapore River. The hotel offers a range of accommodation options to suit different stay occasions, from King, Queen and Twin Guest Rooms for solo travellers, couples, and friends, to selected rooms and suites featuring pull-out sofa beds for added flexibility. The hotel also offers four Deluxe Suites and 11 connecting queen and twin rooms for families and groups travelling together.

Each room is equipped with a 55-inch HDTV, complimentary Wi-Fi, a dedicated work desk, coffee and tea making facilities, and Crabtree & Evelyn bath amenities, bringing together familiar comforts designed to make each stay effortless. Across the guest rooms and public spaces, warm earthy tones, terracotta accents, greenery and tactile natural materials create a clean, contemporary setting with a relaxed, residential feel. Thoughtful details and locally inspired touches further connect the hotel to its riverside surroundings and the easy rhythm of Robertson Quay.

Guests can keep to their wellness routines at the 24-hour fitness centre, making time for quiet movement at the wellness studio, or unwinding at the outdoor pool, with daybeds and cabanas for sunny days or shaded relaxation.

The hotel also offers seven versatile meeting rooms and spacious pre-function areas for corporate gatherings, intimate celebrations and private events. Each venue can accommodate 20 to 40 guests, while Clemenceau I and Clemenceau II can be combined to host up to 70 guests, giving planners added flexibility for meetings, social occasions and small celebrations. Selected meeting rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in natural light, supported by in-house audio-visual capabilities and dedicated workstations for focused moments between sessions.

DoubleTree Hilton Singapore opening: two new dining concepts for Robertson Quay

SAUS is an all-day restaurant that brings homegrown flavours and heritage cooking techniques to comfort food. Taking its name from a playful spin on “sauces”, the restaurant places condiments at the centre of the dining experience, using sauces, dips, marinades and sambals to bring new depth and dimension to familiar dishes. Its ‘Four Corners of Flavour’ showcases more than 40 house-made condiments across four categories featuring Singapore flavours, Southeast Asian culinary traditions, spicy classics and umami-rich marinades.

Menu highlights include Nyonya Prawn Salad, Grilled Lemongrass Chicken, Signature Beef Rendang with Wagyu cheeks slow-cooked in an eleven-spice rempah, Seafood Bakar with hand-pounded sambal olek, and Bak Kut Teh simmered with a blend of spices and herbs. Signature drinks range from nostalgic local favourites such as Air Bandung, Milo Dinosaur and Soya Bean, to house cocktails, kombucha, juices, coffee and tea.

At the other end of the lobby, Brew:33 brings together the easy sociability of a neighbourhood café and bar. Inspired by three simple pleasures – coffee, cookies and craft beer, the 64-seat lounge transitions through the day, from morning coffee and midday treats to evening pours.

Brew:33 serves specialty coffee from local and regional roasters, signature chilled drinks such as Choco Chip Cookie Crush, Mango Coffee Latte, and Strawberry Oat Latte, as well as craft beers from smallbatch local breweries, including Osmanthus Pear Cream Ale and Galactic Tropical Stout. Small bites include Grilled Satay and The Local ‘Bak Kwa’ Sliders, a playful take on familiar flavours. With floor-to-ceiling windows, living room-style seating and a pet-friendly alfresco area, Brew:33 is designed as a relaxed gathering point for guests, locals and Robertson Quay regulars.

At the heart of the lobby, DoubleTree by Hilton’s signature Ritual Hub offers a dedicated zone for guests and families to slow down, connect and take part in complimentary hands-on activities. This October, guests can enjoy a cookie-making workshop inspired by the brand’s signature cookie, with more new activities to be introduced in the months ahead.

“DoubleTree by Hilton has always been built on the brand belief that there is great power in small things; they make all the difference. Through comfortable spaces, thoughtful amenities and genuine human connections, we inspire guests with feel-good moments from check-in to check-out,” said Vincent Ong, vice president, Full Service Brands, Asia Pacific, Hilton. “At DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay, that spirit of care comes to life through warm service and everyday moments that help guests feel at ease, whether they are travelling for work, leisure or a bit of both. With SAUS and Brew:33, the hotel also creates welcoming spaces for the wider neighbourhood to gather, dine and connect.”
