Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur’s Aqua Italian Riviera dining celebration is on offer from 1 August to 30 September 2026, inviting guests to embrace the rustic charm of the Mediterranean coast.

Overlooking the lush greenery of KLCC Park and Kuala Lumpur’s striking city skyline, AQUA Restaurant & Bar provides a vibrant yet relaxed setting ideal for after-work gatherings and evenings with colleagues or friends.

Inspired by the seaside towns, vibrant markets and fresh seafood of the Italian Riveria, this seasonal dining experience showcases a curated menu celebrating regional specialties. Drawing on Italy’s rich culinary traditions, the menu invites guests to discover the diversity of Italian cuisine through a collection of thoughtfully crafted dishes created for sharing.

The journey begins with a selection of appetisers that capture the freshness and simplicity synonymous with Italian coastal dining. Highlights include the signature Risotto ai Frutti di Mare, a Sicilian-inspired seafood risotto prepared with Arborio rice, assorted seafood, cherry tomatoes, lemon and Parmesan, Bocconcini Bruschetta, featuring sourdough topped with cherry tomatoes, basil and balsamic reduction inspired by the flavours of Rome; and the classic Calamari Fritti, lightly fried and served with garlic aioli. Guests may also indulge in a generous Charcuterie Board showcasing Italian cured meats, cheeses and condiments, a perfect aperitivo.

The culinary journey continues with a selection of hearty mains inspired by regional Italian traditions.

Insalata Estiva

• Inspired by Tuscany, this vibrant salad combines tender marinated chicken breast with fennel, walnuts, avocado, roasted grapes and blue cheese, finished with a balsamic dressing.

Sicilian-Style Cold Soup

• A refreshing chilled soup of zucchini and tomatoes, finished with bursts of sweet-tart pomegranate

Spaghetti alla Puttanesca

• A beloved Neapolitan classic featuring cherry tomatoes, anchovies, Kalamata olives, capers and fresh basil.

Risotto ai Frutti di Mare

• A Sicilian-inspired seafood risotto prepared with Arborio rice, assorted seafood, cherry tomatoes, lemon and Parmesan.

To conclude the experience, guests can indulge in a trio of classic Italian desserts.

Sorbetto al Limone e Basilico

• A refreshing Sicilian-inspired lemon and basil sorbet that celebrates the bright citrus flavours of Southern Italy.

Panna Cotta alle Amarena

• Originating from Bologna, this silky vanilla custard is complemented by Amarena cherries, cherry sauce and pistachio biscotti.

Crostata di Marmellata

• A traditional Neapolitan tart featuring apricot marmalade encased in buttery pastry and served with vanilla gelato.

Complementing the Italian Riviera menu is a collaboration with Campari, bringing a touch of Italy’s celebrated aperitivo culture to Aqua. Synonymous with conviviality and leisurely pre-dinner socialising, the aperitivo ritual is an integral part of Italian lifestyle, where friends come together over light refreshments and cocktails before a meal.

Throughout the promotion, guests can enjoy a selection of iconic Campari cocktails including the Negroni, Negroni Sbagliato, Milano Torino, Americano, Campari Spritz and Garibaldi. Reflecting the vibrant character of Italy’s aperitivo tradition, the cocktails complement the seasonal menu while enhancing the relaxed atmosphere.
