Four Seasons Bali experiences offers news: Discover Bali’s magic from land, river, sea and sky in 2025 with eight new Signature Experiences across the two Four Seasons Resorts Bali. Transformative immersions such as A Day in the Life of a Jimbaran Fisherman at Four Seasons Resorts Bali at Jimbaran Bay and River Trails & Treats: A Sayan Valley Adventure at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan bring guests on an elemental journey into Bali’s natural beauty, culture and traditions.

Four Seasons’ two heartfelt Balinese havens have long provided a window into the island’s meaningful culture from their riverside and beachfront locations. From soulful wellness rituals led by local healers to a traditional Megibung dining experience, each resort celebrates Bali’s unique wonders. Encompassing multiple activities, each of the eight new Signature Experiences connect guests on an even deeper level through heritage cuisine, helicopter sight-seeing, artisan crafts, traditional rice farming, cultural storytelling, and much more.

Celebrating the heritage and heart of its secluded oceanfront setting on Jimbaran’s 3-mile (4.8-kilometre) crescent of golden sand, the four new signature experiences at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay are:

• A Day in the Life of a Jimbaran Fisherman – The rhythm and bounty of the sea unite in this enriching seven-hour experience. After an ocean blessing ceremony led by a local priest or elder, set sail in a traditional boat to learn local fishing techniques. Stop at Jimbaran’s fish market to choose ingredients to cook back at the resort’s Jala Cooking Academy. After feasting, cultural storytelling rounds off the day in the Nirvana Shanti Bale.
• Bikes, Beach & Barbecue: Ultimate Family Fun – A five-hour adventure for families to make cherished Bali memories. Up to four people can relish new skills learned as they help to assemble a bicycle to be gifted to a child in a local orphanage. Then it’s time for dinner under the stars: Balinese barbecue favourites before an oceanfront movie screening on the beach. A spectacular fireworks display is a dazzling finale to a spectacular day.
• Captivating Coastline: A Sky-High Adventure – Appreciate Bali from the air via private helicopter during this nine-hour adventure. Soak up elevated coastal views on the way to Menjangan Island, before snorkelling its crystal waters. A traditional lunch follows in heritage village Dapur Bali Mula before the return flight “home”: over Kintamani, the majestic Taman Ujung, Bali’s eastern coastline, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, and Uluwatu cliffs.
• Journey of the Soul: A Balinese Cultural Immersion – This seven-hour immersion offers a soul-enriching journey from the art of sacred Balinese calligraphy – Aksara – with Ibu Atik, a respected elder and cultural guardian to an Ocean Embrace treatment in the ocean-view Nirvana Shanti Bale. Gain a deeper understanding of Balinese spirituality and community. And, dine on authentic Balinese dishes, prepared using age-old recipes and served at the resort temple.

Devised to maximise connection to the soothing and soulful surroundings of the resort’s sacred Ayung River basin home, the four new signature experiences at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan are:

• The Secret Bali Tour – Sidestep the bustle of Bali’s most famous attractions and enjoy heartfelt moments of connection during this three-hour excursion. Explore hidden spots in places that feel almost untouched by time; observe timeless traditions, and delve into experiences that reveal the island’s authentic spirit. Along the way, subtle surprises make the journey a one-of-a-kind memory that’s best kept secret.
• A Day in the Life of a Balinese Farmer – Flow into Bali’s daily rhythms with a bucolic adventure that starts with a guided walk through rice fields and jungle paths.
• Learn rice farming techniques and plant seedlings with a local farmer before easing aches and pains with a 120-minute Batukali Riverstone Bathing Ritual at The Sacred River Spa. A traditional farmers’ lunch by the river brings the day to a contemplative close.
• River Trails & Treats: A Sayan Valley Adventure – Set to launch this autumn, this five-hour adults-only experience starts with a scenic drive through rice-farming villages before rafting down the Ayung River. Paddle past virgin jungle and lush rice terraces served by the unique UNESCO-listed subak irrigation system. Make a traditional water offering then head to a private “camp kitchen” picnic spot to enjoy local delights from satays and salads to rice grilled inside banana leaves.

• A Taste of Sayan: From Earth to Table – This five-hour experience takes a deep dive into Balinese culinary rituals and techniques through a mesmerising cooking class and mixology masterclass. After a market tour, learn how to make six of Bali’s favourite dishes before enjoying a self-made lunch at Sokasi. Then gather the freshest ingredients from the resort’s farms and gardens and discover how to bring them to life in deliciously creative cocktails. Coming this autumn, this experience offers a hands-on way to explore the local flavours, from market to table and garden to glass.
