Festive 2024 Kimpton Samui news, the idyllic island resort from Kimpton (InterContinental Hotel Group) on Koh Samui’s northeast shore, is inviting its joyful guests to celebrate a magical festive season with a series of extraordinary events filled with creative cuisine, vibrant performances and uplifting experiences. The festivities commence on December 24th as Kimpton Kitalay Samui welcomes couples, families and friends for its Feast of Joy – the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM). In the comfort surroundings of the Boho Thai Lifestyle Café or amid lush greenery on the alfresco terrace, loved ones can savour seasonal small plates, including pigs in blankets, cranberry & brie tarts and more, followed by a bountiful buffet of seafood on ice, crisp salads, sushi & sashimi, a raclette grill, Thai and international dishes, a pasta station, and a live BBQ and carving station filled with seasonal delights, such as roasted stuffed turkey, honey-glazed ham, and beef wellington. Every evening can end on a sweet note with traditional desserts and a chocolate fountain, and all guests will be treated to music by a live trio band, and an exciting lucky draw!

This buffet dinner is priced at THB 3,900++ per adult or THB 1,950++ per child (5-12 years), and an optional free-flow beverage package is available for THB 2,200++.

Then on December 25th, guests can celebrate the most magical day of the year with a Christmas Day BBQ by the Beach (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM). Diners will be able to tuck into an unlimited salad bar and a sensational selection of prime meats and fresh seafood, all expertly grilled on a sizzling barbecue and accompanied with a live DJ and dazzling fire show. This enchanting event is priced at just THB 399++ per person for the all-you-can-eat salad bar, plus à la carte prices for the BBQ. Can’t make it on Christmas Day? Don’t worry, the BBQ by the Beach will also be staged on December 28th!

Throughout the holiday season, all kids can enjoy an array of creative activities. From December 10th onwards, little ones can help to decorate the resort’s “Wonderous Sea” Christmas tree, and a full day of festive arts, crafts and games can be enjoyed on Christmas Eve and Day, including face painting, origami, gingerbread decorating, musical chairs and movie time. Santa Claus will also be dropping in to delight children with a sack full of presents!

Then on December 31st, Kimpton Kitalay Samui is inviting guests to ring in the New Year with a series of spectacular celebrations. Boho Thai Lifestyle Café will set the stage for a Ring into New Year – New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM) where cheese takes centre stage! Families and friends can enjoy an unforgettable evening of gourmet small plates, hand-cut sushi and succulent iced seafood, plus an extravagant selection of cheeses. Live cooking stations will also showcase premium seafood and prime meats – including a whole roasted pig – all accompanied by a live band and a lucky draw, immersing diners in a spirit of joy and goodwill.

This dinner is priced at THB 6,500++ per adult or THB 3,250++ per child (5-12 years). For a THB 950++ surcharge, guests can enjoy outdoor seating and a glass of Champagne, and a free-flow beverage package is available for THB 2,500++.

Alternatively, couples can experience a New Year’s Eve Firelight Feast at FishHouse Restaurant and Bar, which has been included in the 2024 MICHELIN Guide. As the sun sets for the final time in 2024, loved ones can come together at a scenic table overlooking the glistening Gulf of Thailand and share a sublime five-course set menu featuring the finest ingredients from around the world, including Alaskan scallops, king crab, wild-caught salmon, and Japanese wagyu beef, all cooked to perfection and accompanied by a dramatic fire show.

Running from 7:00 PM until midnight, this exquisite occasion is priced at THB 5,900++ per person, or THB 7,200++ including a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

Throughout December 30th & 31st (and continuing on January 1st) kids will be treated to a fun-filled schedule of activities at JUNIO Kids’ Club, including mask making, face painting, paper and straw games, New Year cupcake crafting and more! Then, as the clock ticks down to 2025, all guests can gather for a Countdown to Midnight by the Beach New Year’s Eve party, including a live DJ, fire show and fireworks at midnight.
