Singapore hotel art news: A hotel art exhibition is ongoing in the Lion City! Pullman Singapore Hill Street is thrilled to collaborate with the Alphonse Mucha Museum to present ‘The Art of Alphonse Mucha’. A world-acclaimed Czech artist, Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) celebrated his role in the Art Nouveau movement with his art pieces distinctively characterized by ornate floral patterns and ethereal figures.

His sophisticated style of artistry became hugely successful and popular after he created a poster for Sarah Bernhardt, a famous and influential French Stage actress in the 19th century. He produced illustrations, decorative panels, theatrical posters and designs, which became among the most best-known and renowned images of the Art Nouveau Era. His art pieces deeply resonate with art enthusiasts who appreciate the fusion of beauty and symbolism in visual art in the past and present.

The art exhibition showcases 40 sophisticated works and artistry of the late Alphonse Mucha for the first time here in Singapore at the newly opened 5 star premium Pullman Singapore Hill Street from May 14 to September 15, 2024. The captivating Art pieces are displayed at the hotel’s Madison’s (level 1) and the reception area (level 3).

This public exhibition provides art lovers, history enthusiasts and cultural connoisseurs a one-of-a-kind experience of the pivotal Art Nouveau movement. The guests of Pullman Singapore Hill Street have the opportunity to embark in ‘A Timeless Journey Through Arts’ experiential stay inspired by Mucha’s iconic artworks in one of the Mucha inspired Thematic Deluxe rooms and Suites.

Guests also receive a set of exclusive Mucha themed amenities including a Mucha printed tote bag, a handmade dark chocolate bar, Mucha’s favourite French drip coffee, a coaster, and artisanal bottles (180 ml) of crafted cocktail and mocktail, available for a limited period of time.
