Wellness & Relaxation: Rosewood Bangkok –The Lanka-Suga Treatment (Thailand)

Staying true to Rosewood’s signature A Sense of Place philosophy, Rosewood Bangkok proudly presents the Lanka-Suga Treatment this summer, inviting guests to experience a wellness journey inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Thailand. The unique treatment begins with a traditional stretching technique and a body massage followed by an application of Tian Dam flower extract to help release joint and muscle pain as well as stimulate blood circulation.

Fun fact, the use of Tian Dam flower extract dates back to the Ayutthaya period (1300- 1700s) in Thai history when visiting Persian merchants who often applied an extraction from the Tian Dam flower to help release tension after a hard day’s work. While everyone could benefit from the relaxing treatment, the Lanka-Sunga Treatment is especially beneficial to those suffering from joint pain, as well as those affected by menopause for its hormone balancing benefits.
