St. Regis Hotels & Resorts today announced the highly anticipated opening of The St. Regis Hong Kong, marking the debut of the iconic luxury brand in the destination. Founded more than century ago by John Jacob Astor IV with the opening of The St. Regis New York, St. Regis has since become a symbol of uncompromising refinement and bespoke service. As the ultra-luxurious global brand expands its portfolio of hotels, Its Hong Kong hotel brings its legacy of butler service and signature rituals to the city.

Opening in Wan Chai, a dynamic hub with both commercial and cultural aspects, Hong Kong’s latest luxury hotel is just steps from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center and Golden Bauhinia Square, and minutes by car to Admiralty, Lan Kwai Fong in Central, and Victoria Peak.

This personalized, round-the-clock service is a St. Regis tradition and in addition to a seamless, end-to-end experience for all guests, allows for each guest’s stay to be customized according to their tastes and preferences. Services include private in-room check-in, unpacking and packing, beverage service and garment pressing. Guests can also make plans or arrangements for special occasions simply by informing their dedicated Butler, who will then take care of all the details to ensure a memorable celebration. The hotel will also introduce eButler chat – where guests can contact their dedicated Butler through the Marriott Mobile App, available 24 hours a day, or by scanning an electronic Butler contact card that connects the guest to reach the Butler via a dedicated line, email, and apps like WhatsApp and WeChat.

The St. Regis Hong Kong will introduce an exceptional dining experience with award-winning chef Olivier Elzer. Guests will be invited to indulge in French haute cuisine in L’Envol along the banquettes of its main dining room or, in the intimate private dining salon. With 20 years of experience, Elzer is highly regarded as one of the top French chefs in Hong Kong, acclaimed with a combined 18 Michelin stars to his experience. Rùn, the signature Cantonese restaurant is led by renowned chef Hung Chi-Kwong, winner of the Silver Award in the 2012 Best of the Best Culinary Awards, famed for developing his own unique mastery and contemporary interpretations of the rich gastronomy of Cantonese cuisine; delivering delicate and innovative seasonal dishes.

The captivating ambience of The Drawing Room transforms throughout the day where guests may enjoy all-day dining including a reimagined Afternoon Tea experience with views of the Terrace.

The St. Regis Bar is a contemporary venue for an after-hours digestif with comfortable seating and a warm atmosphere and is set to become an iconic destination in the city’s sophisticated nightlife scene. Designed by internationally-renowned bar consultants Proof & Company, The St. Regis Bar also promises a superb selection of bespoke cocktails skillfully crafted by expert mixologists as well as an impressive wine list, featuring more than 800 wine labels and 100 champagnes. The signature St. Regis cocktail, the Bloody Mary, is given an intriguing new twist using a delicious mix of Cantonese ingredients including dried tangerine peel, five spice and Kowloon soy sauce, and aptly reintroduced as the Canto Mary. Every evening, guests are treated to splendid live performances by international jazz musicians, a wonderful complement to the excellent drinks menu and the remarkable skills of the bar’s mixologists.
