InterContinental Danang summer activities: Vietnam’s iconic resort has revealed a series of brand-new curated activities that will inspire all travellers – including nature lovers, foodies, wellness seekers, and cultural connoisseurs. These experiences form part of InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort’s Summer Festival 2025.
The five-star sanctuary nestled in 39 hectares of jungle on the Son Tra Peninsula boasts award-winning facilities, Michelin-rated restaurants and Bill Bensley’s breath-taking design to affirm InterContinental Danang’s status as a truly unique and endlessly engaging multi-sensory destination in Central Vietnam.
InterContinental Danang summer activities: New botanic garden tour
The pristine forests of the Son Tra Peninsula are home to an amazing array of flora and fauna, including colourful flowers that bloom in the summer months. A new Botanic Garden Tour will see resident naturalist Mr. Trung Quân lead guests through the resort’s diverse levels – Heaven, Sky, Earth, and Sea – to learn about the native foliage. An exhilarating trip on the Nam Tram railway and a leisurely walk will end at the beach, where visitors can experience the ancient practice of shinrin-yoku, or ‘forest bathing’. Nature lovers can also visit the plant nursery where saplings are cultivated, and an organic garden that produces fresh Vietnamese herbs and vegetables.
One of these ingredients, red button ginger, is a favourite of red-shanked douc langurs – a critically-endangered species of primate that thrives in the forest surrounding the resort. With regular Wildlife Expeditions led by Mr. Quân, travellers can head into the jungle to learn all about these rare animals, and the efforts to protect them.
‘Artisan Stories’: a new series for foodies
InterContinental Danang is one of Vietnam’s leading culinary destinations, where world-class chefs present the finest French, Japanese and regional Vietnamese delicacies in a choice of breath-taking restaurants. This summer, the resort invites guests to discover the ‘Artisan Stories’ behind its creative cuisine with a series of exclusive epicurean events.
This new series will start this June, as Christian Le Squer, the Michelin three-star icon from La Maison 1888, comes together with Junichi Yoshida, the Okinawan culinary maestro from Tingara, for the Celebration of Chefs – a curated eight-course journey featuring highly original and artistic French-Japanese dishes that cannot be found anywhere else on Earth, paired with the sommelier’s selection of fine wines and sakes. There are six opportunities to savour this sublime four-hands dinner, with seatings at 18.00 and 20.30 hrs on 13, 14 & 15 June. And from 11-15 June, InterContinental Danang invites all guests to take part in exclusive Sake & Wine Classes!

InterContinental Danang summer activities: new sound bath, healing sessions for wellness seekers
Perched above a lagoon in a secluded part of the Son Tra Peninsula, Mi Sol Spa is an oasis of tranquillity where professional sound therapists use tuning forks to tap into the body’s natural frequencies, transporting guests on a journey to complete wellbeing. This summer, a 45-minute Sound Bath & Healing Session will harness the power of Himalayan singing bowls and crystals to gently guide wellness seekers towards a deeply meditative state. In addition, a partnership with Valmont, the Swiss skincare brand, will embrace the refreshing essence of the mountains with a choice of immersive spa treatments, including the 45-minute ‘Purity of the Alps’ and 60-minute ‘Lift from the Peaks’, each with the option of a regenerative collagen mask to leave guests looking and feeling fantastic.
Fitness enthusiasts seeking a more active therapy can discover the art of Aerial Yoga, which combines yoga poses, Pilates, and dance movements, all suspended in a smooth silk hammock that captures the freedom of flight.

New Hoi An digital, cultural tour guide
Vietnam’s central coast has a rich history that rewards deep exploration. Just one hour’s drive from the resort, the ancient UNESCO World Heritage-listed port city of Hoi An can be discovered with a new Digital Tour, which has been curated by InterContinental Danang especially for its culturally-curious guests. Conveniently accessible via smartphone, this step-by-step itinerary can help travellers uncover the wonders of this charming old town at their own pace, including stops at key cultural sites such as temples and markets, as well as recommended restaurants, cafés, attractions, and live shows. For complete convenience, a complimentary shuttle bus service to Hoi An departs the resort every daily 14.00 hrs.
Back at the resort, another digital tour will help art lovers uncover the artistic wonders of the APEC Sculpture Garden, a serene space just a short walk from the lobby which houses a collection of 21 unique sculptures, each representing a landmark or cultural symbol from an APEC member country.
