For the 2023 National Day InterContinental Singapore invites guests to embark on an epicurean journey that beautifully encapsulates the flavours and traditions that make Singapore a gastronomic paradise. From locally-inspired bar bites at The Lobby Lounge to a four-course Cantonese-Singaporean set menu from Man Fu Yuan, vibrant National Day themed cocktails at LUCE by Davide Giacomelli and all-time local favourites at Palms Champagne and Pool Bar, be treated to an unparalleled dining experience, combining the best of Singaporean cuisine with the hotel‘s renowned expertise in culinary excellence.

National Day InterContinental Singapore: The Lobby Lounge

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant hawker scenes of Singapore, The Lobby Lounge’s team of talented chefs crafted a menu that captures the essence of Singapore’s rich culinary heritage, available from 7 to 13 August 2023.

Guests will have the opportunity to savour a selection of mouth-watering bar bites with a local twist, such as ‘Chicken Rice’ French Fries, crispy fries accompanied with the umami chicken rice sauce, Peranakan Spicy Kueh Pie Tee, Homemade Chicken Popiah and the Satay Pulled Lamb Slider, made with lamb shoulder that has been braised for 24 hours.

Complementing the bar bites, raise a toast to the Nation with The Bugis Tiger, a beer-based cocktail concocted with Tiger Beer, mango and calamansi; specially curated for the celebration. Beer lovers may also enjoy Singapore’s very first locally brewed beer – Tiger Beer at $58++ for a bucket of 5 bottles.

For 3 days only, 7 to 9 August 2022, an impressive four-course National Day Set Menu curated by Executive Chinese Chef Aaron Tan awaits at Man Fu Yuan. Be greeted with a series of dashing dishes prepared with a local flair including appetisers like the Wok-Fried Pork Ribs with Pineapple Salsa and Satay Sauce; Steamed Marble Goby Fillet with spicy Nyonya Sauce and more.

LUCE by Davide Giacomelli celebrates Singapore’s National Day with three specially concocted cocktails – LUCE Sling, National Treasure and Moon & Stars of Singapore that pay tribute to the flavours, culture, and spirit of the Lion City.

Concocted with Pigskin Gin, Dom Benedictine and Cherry Brandy, the LUCE Sling is a modern take on the classic Singapore Sling with a twist of Italian sophistication.

Crafted with all things Singaporean, the National Treasure is made with a pandan-infused Gin and includes ingredients unique to the region such as coconut, gula melaka, lemon and chendol.

Decked in the colours of the Singapore National flag, Moon & Stars of Singapore pays homage to the vibrant garden city with a concoction of Aged Rum, Apple Jack, Banana Liqueur, Grenadine, Lime Juice, Egg White, topped with stardust and a smoke bubble.

Available exclusively for the month of August, guests may also enjoy a set of all three cocktails at $58++.
