LUCE by Davide Giacomelli, InterContinental Singapore hotel, celebrates one year of bistronomic excellence with an extensive line up of month-long activities starting 23 May 2023.

Dining enthusiasts in Singapore can look forward to the refreshed daily themed nights and a seasonal Venison menu, alongside family-focused activities such as pizza-making sessions on selected Saturdays and a special Father’s Day Italian Sunday Champagne Brunch.

Luce by Davide Giacomelli: Refreshed daily themed offerings unveiled

From 23 May 2023, a convivial dining experience awaits as Luce presents a refreshed set of irresistible daily themed offerings that will leave guests spoilt for choice. Highlight includes the brand-new Ladies’ Night on Thursdays and Fri-date on Fridays.

Pinsa and Booze: Tuesday and Wednesday, 6pm to 8pm
Gather your squad on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a mid-week perk-me-up with the restaurant’s Pinsa and Booze bundle. Delight in bottomless servings of hand-tossed pinsas and pizzas with free-flow Menabrea Italian beer and Prosecco at $38++ per person, from 6pm to 8pm. Indulge in hand-tossed pinsa options such Prosciutto Cotto e Gorgonzola, Salsiccia e Funghi, Zucchini e Pecorino, Napoli and Mortadella.

Ladies’ Night: Thursday, 6pm to 10pm
Thursday is the new Friday with Luce’s latest Ladies’ Night. Probably the most attractive deal in town; simply spend a minimum of $28++ per lady to enjoy 2 hours of bottomless Prosecco, Aperol Spritz and Luce’s signature cocktails on every Thursday evening.

Fri-date: Friday, 6pm to 10pm
Nothing spells romance like authentic Italian food and an intimate ambience illuminated by elegant chandeliers, setting the mood for a romantic date night. Thoughtfully curated as an ode to love with different menu every month, Chef Davide Giacomelli’s first Fri-date 4-course set menu spotlights on the freshest catch from the ocean.

Start off with fresh Crudo Di Cappesante Di Hokkaido, Carpaccio of Japanese Scallop before moving on to Spaghetti “Giuseppe Cocco” Con Scampi, Lime E Basilico, durum wheat spaghetti cooked in seafood stock with langoustine. Taste the umami Halibut Asparagi E Bottarga, a Halibut confit with asparagus declination and cured fish roe, before rounding off the meal with Profumi D’ Oriente, a Yuzu mango petit gâteau.

Fri-date 4-course set is priced at $128++ per person and wine pairing is available at an additional $68++ per person. Two-day advanced reservation is required.

Take the romance up a notch by sharing a spaghetti kiss and share the moment on social media to enjoy two complimentary cocktails per couple. One lucky pair will also stand a chance to win Luce’s Bistronomic Sunday Champagne for two, winners will be announced on the first Monday of every month on Luce’s official Instagram account @lucebydavide.

Charcuterie and Prosecco: Saturday and Sunday, 6pm to 10pm
Delight in the classic pairing of charcuterie and prosecco with the restaurant’s Charcuterie Platter, along with a bottle of Prosecco for two at $48++. Filled with quality antipasti to ease into the weekend evening, the Charcuterie Meat and Prosecco platter is perfect for sharing.

Luce by Davide Giacomelli’s seasonal Venison menu

This June, get ready for a gastronomic journey at Luce. In celebration of Luce’s first anniversary and the Italian National Day on 2 June, also known as Festa della Repubblica Italiana, Chef Davide Giacomelli presents a month-long venison themed menu from 1 to 30 June 2023, featuring three hearty and favourful dishes from this nutritional powerhouse protein.

For a start, Tartare di Capriolo, Ginepro, Insalata di’ Erbe is a hand-cut venison tartare that is delicate yet bursting with flavour – seasoned with grain Dijon mustard, horseradish and topped with a generous sprinkling of juniper berry and herb salad. For the pasta lovers, Pappardelle al Ragù Di Capriolo is the perfect marriage between Venison and the classic Italian cuisine. Made with fresh, homemade pappardelle noodles, slow-cooked venison ragout, and sprinkled with parmesan cheese – the perfect indulgence for a special occasion. Lastly, Chef Davide’s Hamburger di Capriolo is made with a juicy venison patty, guanciale, tomato, Romaine salad, red onion, and Provolone cheese, offering the perfect combination of flavours.

Family time celebration at Luce

As part of the month-long milestone anniversary celebration, look forward to family time and forging cherished memories over hearty Italian spread and engaging children’s activities at Luce.

Available on three selected Saturdays – 10, 17 and 24 June from 4.30pm to 6pm, Luce’s pizza kitchen will be hosting pizza making workshop for children aged 5 to 12 years old, where they will learn to make Luce’s famous hand-pulled pizzas under the guidance of experienced chefs. Available at $49++ per child, aprons and hats will be provided and all participants will also receive a certificate of participation at the end of the workshop.

In addition, Luce will be hosting a special Father’s Day Italian Sunday Champagne Brunch on 18 June 2023 from 12pm to 3pm, showing appreciation for all the dads out there. The Father’s Day Sunday Champagne Brunch features a Negroni push cart and a “Wheel of Prizes” where dads dining at Luce will be entitled to one spin at the wheel. One lucky dad will stand a chance to win a one-night stay in InterContinental Singapore’s Classic Room.
