Festive Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort: The new resort, which introduced a new era of culturally-infused hospitality to Phuket’s stunning sunset coast when it recently opened its doors, is embarking on its first festive season with a series of dazzling dining experiences and sparkling parties that will immerse guests in the magic of the holidays.

It begins on 24 December (18.00 to 22.00 hrs) with the ‘Christmas Eve Beach BBQ Dinner’, as guests are invited to the soft sands of Mai Khao Beach for a mouth-watering festive feast. Tuck into an amazing array of delicacies, including fresh oysters and seafood on ice, premium cold cuts and cheeses, salads and soups, a live pasta station, Japanese delights, a Thai corner, kids’ dishes and more. At the sizzling barbecue, chefs will be grilling succulent seafood and prime meats to-order, including lobster, tiger prawns, squid, Australian ribeye steaks, New Zealand lamb and more, and of course, diners can enjoy traditional roasted Christmas turkey and honey-glazed ham, followed by plenty of traditional sweet treats.

Throughout the night, guests will be kept fully entertained with a live band and fire show, and Santa Claus will be taking time out of his busy schedule to visit the resort and deliver gifts to kids! This exquisite occasion is priced at just THB 2,590++ per person, with an optional beverage package (free-flow soft drinks, juices, beer and wine) for THB 1,590++. On 31 December (18.00 hrs until late), Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort will celebrate the end of 2023 in style with its New Year’s Eve White Party! As the sun sets on the final day of the year, this vibrant evening will let loved ones come together and share an unforgettable international buffet dinner on the beach. Following bite-sized canapés, diners can indulge in seafood on ice, sublime salads, tom yum soup, hand-cut sushi and sashimi, and dynamic live stations that showcase Thai and Mongolian dishes, noodle soup, freshly-cooked pasta, kids’ dishes, and carved suckling pig, Peking duck and baked sea bass. An extensive selection of desserts is the perfect way to complete this feast, and a live band and fire show will keep guests entertained throughout the night.

Then, as the clock ticks down to 2024, revellers can kick off their shoes and dance the night away at the countdown party! With live performances, DJs spinning upbeat tunes, and drinks flowing until the early hours, this is a wonderful way to mark the start of a bright new era. This entire evening is priced at THB 7,490++ per person, with an optional beverage package for THB 2,290++. Children’s discounts apply.
