General Manager Jason Kruse has been appointed to be at the helm of the Anantara Maldives as Complex GM. There he will oversee Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort, Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, and Naladhu Private Island Maldives.

An accomplished hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience, Jason brings a wealth of expertise in luxury resort operations, pre-opening leadership, and turnaround strategy across the Asia-Pacific region.

Jason is a familiar face in the Maldives, having previously led Amilla Maldives Resort and
Residences, Kurumba Maldives, and JA Manafaru, giving him a nuanced understanding of the
market and guest expectations. His earlier career includes senior roles at luxury beachfront and island resorts in Fiji, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia, often spearheading pre-openings and transformation projects. Across each property, he has been instrumental in aligning teams with brand values, elevating guest satisfaction metrics, and delivering sustained commercial growth.

In his new role at Minor Hotels, Jason will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day
operations of three uniquely positioned properties: the serene, adults-only Anantara Veli, the
family-friendly paradise of Anantara Dhigu, and the ultra-private escape that is Naladhu Private Island. Together, the cluster exemplifies Minor Hotels’ signature blend of meaningful luxury, local connection, and unforgettable experiences.
